Thomas Markle Sr.’s granddaughter has dropped a bombshell, revealing she played a direct role in sending the explosive 2019 letter that first alerted Meghan Markle to devastating allegations against her estranged father—just as fresh claims of a child pornography hoard in a Mexican storage locker have triggered a police raid.Tour Palaces

Noel (also referred to as Noelle) Rasmussen, 28, daughter of Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Markle and granddaughter of the 82-year-old former lighting director, spoke out in an exclusive interview amid the escalating scandal. She said her late grandmother, Roslyn Loveless—Thomas Sr.’s first wife, who died in 2024—asked her to mail a letter to Meghan’s police security team in London. Rasmussen insists she had no idea of its contents.Tour Palaces

“I’m shocked, just absolutely shocked. It’s surreal. It’s disturbing,” Rasmussen said from her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. “Roslyn never mentioned anything relating to pedophilia to me about Sr. She just had the typical ex-wife gripes about him.” She described those as ordinary marital complaints: he stayed out late, came home smelling of perfume. “She never explicitly told me to stay away from him or said he’s a pedophile to me.”

The letter, sent around January 2019 to the Metropolitan Police’s Royalty and Specialist Protection unit, contained “troubling and disturbing” allegations of child sex offenses against Thomas Sr., according to Meghan’s public statement. The Met passed it to the Sussexes but did not share the claims with other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI. The force has since referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct over that decision. Meghan has said learning of the allegations led her to cut ties with her father and prevent him from meeting Archie and Lilibet “to protect them.”Tour Palaces
