MEGHAN MARKLE’S FAMILY DRAMA TAKES A NEW TURN AS UK POLICE MAKE NEW MOVE

A fresh police development has brought renewed attention to Meghan Markle, her father Thomas Markle and a family controversy that continues to attract public interest.

The situation surrounding Meghan Markle and her father, Thomas Markle, has taken another turn following a new development involving Britain’s Metropolitan Police.

The force has announced plans to refer allegations concerning Thomas Markle to relevant overseas law-enforcement agencies following an internal review of how the matter was originally handled.

Thomas Markle Meghan’s father has denied the allegations, and it is important to stress that they have not been proven

For Meghan the situation is particularly sensitive given the long standing public difficulties in her relationship with her father.

The recent police development also raises questions about the handling of the original information and the steps now being taken by authorities, however the referral should not be interpreted as a finding of guilt. Any investigation and assessment of the allegations must be left to the appropriate authorities

For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the renewed attention presents another difficult moment in a family story that has repeatedly become part of the wider royal news conversation.

Can Meghan and her father ever find a way to rebuild their relationship, or has the damage become too deep and should private family disagreements involving members of the royal family continue to dominate public headlines?
